TOWN OF OAKFIELD

PUBLIC HEARING ON ADOPTION OF
AMENDMENTS TO THE TOWN OF OAKFIELD ZONING ORDINANCE

 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at the Town Hall in Oak Center, the Town Board of the Town of Oakfield and the Town of Oakfield Plan Commission will conduct a public hearing on the adoption of amendments to the Town’s Zoning Ordinance.

The amendments concern the lists of conditional uses within the Town’s various zoning districts and are being considered in response to 2017 Wisconsin Act 67. In addition, the amendments concern various other provisions within the Zoning Ordinance including the definition of “liquid manure,” the definition of “nutrient management,” reimbursement of professional fees, the legal notice requirement for conditional use permits, and the procedure for appointing members to Town land use bodies.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Town Board will review the recommendations of the Plan Commission and consider final action on the adoption of the revisions at a meeting to be held immediately following the public hearing described above.

The hearing is open to the public and all interested parties are encouraged to attend.
